Covid-19 Update – Important Please Read – Alert Level 1

We want to assure you that we will remain able to provide you with timely legal services regardless of the extent or duration of the Covid-19 outbreak.

 Like most businesses and services we have had to adapt how we operate during the Covid-19 Pandemic. As we are in Alert Level 1 and beyond we are able to return to a more “business as usual” approach. Despite this we do still remain willing and able to help by phone, email, and video conferencing. We want to make sure we are responsive to individual client needs in the best, most efficient way possible.

 While we remain available remotely, we know that sometimes a physical meeting is necessary. In order to keep you and our staff safe when you visit we will be following Ministry of Health guidelines, in particular we will:

  1. Ask any person who exhibits Covid-19 Symptoms to stay away from our offices (remember, we can still see you via video conference);

  2. Require appointments to be made in advance;

  3. Provide hand wash and require all visitors to use hand wash on entry;

  4. Keep a Contact Tracing Register with visitor details including: full name; contact details; time of entry/exit;

  5. Maintain physical distancing in the offices;

  6. Reduce the number of people in our offices at any one time;

  7. Clean surfaces regularly.

We want to play our part in eliminating Covid-19. That is why we will be following the Ministry of Health guidelines. Some of our staff may wear masks when they attend on you, and we welcome our clients to wear masks when they come into our offices.

We want to make sure not only that we are limiting the chance for the virus to spread, but keeping robust and accurate records of who enters our office so that we can assist with contact tracing should that become necessary.
